Join the power movement as an Operations Coordinator - Assembly
The SASY Assembly Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Field Assembly organization, with primary responsibility for purchasing production consumables and supplies, maintaining organization and availability of clean room materials, coordinating new-hire onboarding, and leading clean room training. This position serves as an important link between Assembly, Purchasing, Quality, Human Resources, and other functional teams to ensure employees have the materials, training, and support necessary to operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you'll do:: Production Supplies & Purchasing
- Manage purchasing of production consumables, supplies, PPE, office supplies, and other operational materials
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials to prevent production interruptions
- Obtain quotes, place purchase orders, and communicate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and shortages
- Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve purchasing efficiency, and standardize commonly used supplies
- Work closely with Assembly leadership to anticipate upcoming material requirements
Clean Room Supply Management
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and inventory of clean room supplies and materials
- Ensure required PPE, garments, gloves, wipes, cleaning materials, and other clean room consumables are readily available
- Establish and maintain organized storage locations and visual inventory controls
- Monitor usage and develop appropriate reorder points and inventory levels
- Support adherence to clean room procedures and company quality requirements
- Coordinate replenishment of clean room supplies to minimize disruption to production
New-Hire Onboarding
- Coordinate administrative activities associated with new employee onboarding
- Work with Human Resources and department leadership to ensure new hires have required documentation, equipment, PPE, and access prior to starting
- Coordinate first-day activities, facility orientation, and required production training
- Maintain onboarding checklists and training documentation
- Communicate new-hire schedules and requirements to appropriate departments
Clean Room Training
- Lead and coordinate clean room training for new and existing employees
- Train employees on proper gowning, PPE, clean room behavior, material handling, housekeeping, and applicable procedures
- Ensure employees understand and follow established clean room requirements
- Maintain accurate training records and communicate training completion to appropriate personnel
- Coordinate refresher training when required
- Work with Quality and Operations to identify and address training gaps
General Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Assembly team
- Maintain production-related records, spreadsheets, forms, and documentation
- Assist with scheduling meetings, communications, and department coordination
- Support audits and documentation activities as needed
- Track department action items and follow up on outstanding requests
- Assist with implementation of process improvements and standard work
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned What we’re looking for:: • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, operations, or administrative environment preferred
- Experience working in a clean room or regulated manufacturing environment is a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with employees at all levels
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a cross-functional team
- Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills Bonus points for:: • Experience with purchasing or procurement

- Previous experience training employees
- Knowledge of clean room procedures and GMP/quality requirements Must-have requirements: : • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Perform activities such as stooping, climbing, typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
- Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics
- Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally
