Our story

The clean energy industry is growing faster than almost any other part of the U.S. economy — but the hiring infrastructure for it hasn't caught up. Job seekers with hard-won energy credentials are stuck applying on generic boards built around oil & gas and tech. Employers hiring for solar, wind, storage, and grid roles are stuck posting into the same crowded feeds as every other industry.

Verde Talent is a brand-new hiring platform built to fix that gap — job postings pulled directly from clean energy employers' own career pages, organized around the roles and sectors that actually make up this industry, paired with real labor-market data (compensation, hiring trends, fill-difficulty) sourced from public data including the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Right now, that's a solo effort: one person building the product, running the job crawler, and talking to every company and candidate directly. It's early days — the goal is to grow this into the default hiring layer for the energy transition.
