Who we are

Verde Talent ("we," "us") runs a job board connecting candidates with renewable energy employers. You can reach us at contact@verdetalent.com.

Information we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us:

Account information: your email address and password, used to create and secure your candidate account.
Profile information: name, headline, location, years of experience, bio, sectors, skills, work experience, education, job preferences, salary expectations, availability, and any links (LinkedIn, website, GitHub) you choose to add.
Resume file: if you upload one, we store the file itself so it can be shared with employers you choose to be visible to.
Contact form / email submissions: anything you send us directly, e.g. via a "Talk to our team" or newsletter signup link.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and as of this writing we do not run analytics or tracking cookies on this site.

How we use your information

To create and operate your candidate profile and account.
To let employers discover and evaluate your profile and resume, subject to the visibility settings you control (e.g. "Open to recruiters," "Profile searchable").
To respond to messages you send us.
To operate, maintain, and improve the site.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who can see your profile

Your profile data is private by default and only accessible to your own account and to Verde Talent for site administration. Visibility toggles on your profile (recruiters, salary range, current employer, searchability) control what a future employer-facing view will show once that feature is publicly available. Until then, your data is not shown to any third party.

Where your data is stored

Your account, profile, and resume file are stored using Supabase, a third-party database and file storage provider. Supabase provides the infrastructure; Verde Talent controls access to your data through account-level security rules (nobody can read another person's profile or resume through the public-facing site).

Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
You can request that we correct or delete your data at any time.
You can delete your resume or update your profile visibility settings whenever you like.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@verdetalent.com and we'll handle it directly, since self-service account deletion isn't built yet.

Children's privacy

Verde Talent is intended for working professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

As Verde Talent grows, this policy will be updated to reflect new features (like an employer-facing candidate browser). We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever that happens.
