**Job Title: Lead Line Engineer

Reports to: Manager Project Units HV

Location: Orange, CT (UI-CT-Marsh Hill Road)**

The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $130,000- $160,400

Job Summary:

Responsible for high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage transmission designs for The United Illuminating Company. Line designs include structural or electrical calculations, routing, and preparation of engineering drawings. The electric delivery system in Connecticut contains approximately 130 miles of transmission lines and 28 bulk electric supply substations.  Position reports to the Unit Manager Line Projects but will work day-to- day in a cross functional project team and support project needs as dictated by the UI project manager(s).
