Vestas is the energy industry's global partner on sustainable energy solutions. We specialise in designing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing wind turbines, both onshore and offshore. The Northern and Central Europe (NCE) North-West Service Commercial team is responsible for service-related commercial topics across UK, Ireland and Benelux onshore markets. We build strong customer relationships, manage accounts, create value propositions, and negotiate service contracts and aftermarket products. We are accountable for delivering profitable growth in line with our commercial strategy. We now seek a Service Sales Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary commercial contact for service-related activities
• Own and deliver service sales targets through new contracts, renewals, upselling opportunities, and new business growth within assigned accounts
• Develop and execute account strategies that align with customer needs, operational performance, and long-term partnership goals
• Identify, develop, and convert opportunities for value-added services to maximise contract scope and commercial performance
• Collaborate closely with sales, operations, technical, legal, and finance teams to ensure successful delivery of service solutions and commitments
• Lead commercial negotiations for service agreements, ensuring competitive offerings while effectively managing risk
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to continuously refine sales strategies and enhance service propositions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in sales and/or customer account management, ideally within services, aftersales, turbine sales, or long-term service-based business models
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop customer value propositions and deliver value-engineering solutions
• Strong experience in contract management and commercial negotiations
• Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and develop mutually beneficial, win-win solutions
• Knowledge of the wind energy, renewable energy, power generation, or related sectors would be highly advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with experience using Salesforce and fluency in English; additional Dutch, French, or German language skills are desirable

• Highly organised and methodical, with experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce to manage customer engagement and sales activities
• Flexible and willing to travel as required, typically 1 to 3 days per week, to support customer relationships and business objectives
