Solar States is looking for an experienced Solar Battery Installer. As a Solar Battery Installer at Solar States you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar battery storage systems for residential and commercial clients. You will work alongside a dynamic team of professionals to deliver high-quality renewable energy solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine the suitability of solar battery installations.
- Install solar battery systems, including mounting solar panels, connecting electrical components, and configuring batteries.
- Integrate battery storage systems with existing solar PV arrays and electrical systems.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure optimal functionality.
- Provide customer education on system operation and maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during installations.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize installation processes and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, products, and technologies related to solar battery systems.
- Valid driver’s license
Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent; electrical or renewable energy-related certifications a plus.
- Proven experience in solar battery installation and electrical work.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, battery technologies, and associated components.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Commitment to safety and environmental sustainability
- at least 6 months of battery installation experience
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- NABCEP certification
- Enphase Battery Installation Certifications
- Tesla Installer Certification
- Proficient with computers
- 1 year electrical experience
