Pennsylvania has 20 open solar entry-level roles right now, spanning apprentice, trainee and entry-level careers. Most are around Scranton, Wilkes Barre and Carnegie. The list refreshes daily as employers post.
Hiring now: ReNu Solar & Roofing, Trinity Solar
Sources: U.S. Department of Energy USEER (modelled estimates), EIA planned-generator inventory, and pay advertised on open Verde Talent postings (not offers made).
20 right now, from 2 employers. Verde Talent rebuilds this page daily, so closed roles drop off and new postings appear the day after they go up.
Scranton (1), Wilkes Barre (1) and Carnegie (1), counted from the locations on the open postings.
Trinity Solar (19) and ReNu Solar & Roofing (1). Each posting links straight through to the employer's own application page.
Of the 20 open roles, 19 advertise pay, and their median is $68,000 a year. That is advertised pay rather than offers made, and roles without a published range are not counted.
