**Position Summary:**

The Energy Meteorologist will have multiple weather-related roles as necessary by system circumstances that impact system load and reliability requirements. The primary responsibilities for this role are weather forecasting, short-term load forecasting for use in unit commitment and generation dispatch planning, high-impact weather event support, and communicating weather forecasts and information to various teams across the company on a routine basis. Additional enterprise weather support will occur outside of these major roles, in areas such as climate/climate change, fulfilling data requests, performing data analysis and supporting wildfire mitigation programs. The position is also responsible for interacting with various functions across the company and all levels of management.

The Energy Meteorologist will perform daily tasks on weekdays plus provide weekend/holiday support on a rotating basis.
