The Position
Arevon is recruiting for the position of Manager, Business Systems, an outstanding opportunity for an experienced systems leader to run NetSuite and Sitetracker, two platforms the whole company relies on, in one of the most important industries for the 21st century.
Your time divides evenly between the two. On the NetSuite side, you will administer the system to support the needs of the business, working closely with Accounting, Finance, and the teams who rely on it. Sitetracker, Arevon’s Salesforce-based platform, is where the company acquires land, signs agreements, procures equipment, builds projects, and keeps them running. You will administer both as part of a team of NetSuite and Sitetracker administrators who share the work, review each other’s changes, and back each other up.
On the Sitetracker side, we build differently from most Salesforce teams. The team directs AI coding agents that write the metadata, Apex, and flows, deploy them to a sandbox, run the tests, and open the pull request, all inside a playbook the team has written and sharpened over hundreds of changes. Every change moves through GitHub with automated validation, an independent QA sign-off, and a weekly release to production, and colleagues can put questions to an AI assistant we built into Sitetracker itself.
As Manager, you bring the judgment that makes all of this work: deciding what gets built and why, setting priorities with the business, and holding every change to the same standard whether a person or an agent wrote it.
This role suits a business systems professional with five or more years of experience who has administered both NetSuite and Salesforce and who enjoys leading as much as building. The Manager reports to the Director, Business Systems (Salesforce). The role is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, with a minimum of three days a week in the office and minimal travel.
Key Responsibilities
NetSuite Administration (50%)
- Administer NetSuite day to day: users, roles and permissions, custom records and fields, forms, and workflows.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, and other business teams to gather requirements and turn them into configuration, workflows, and reports that meet the needs of the business.
- Build and maintain saved searches, reports, and dashboards that give colleagues timely, accurate information.
- Maintain role-based access and segregation of duties in support of internal controls and audit requests.
- Plan and test NetSuite’s twice-yearly releases and keep customizations, scripts, and SuiteApps documented and supportable.
- Support SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and integration work, whether built in-house or by a partner.
- Maintain data integrity across imports, integrations, and master data.
Sitetracker Administration (50%)
- Administer Sitetracker end to end: users, permission sets, security, and the objects, flows, and record pages colleagues rely on every day.
- Lead changes through the team’s AI-assisted build workflow: direct AI coding agents such as Claude Code, review the approach they propose, and inspect what they produce before it reaches an org.
- Carry changes through the path to production: source control in GitHub, automated validation, independent QA, and a weekly release.
- Turn lessons learned into rules the agents follow automatically, helping maintain the shared playbook, skills, and guardrails that keep the approach safe.
- Help grow the AI assistant built into Sitetracker, from reviewing the answers it gives colleagues to shaping what it can do next.
Leadership and Collaboration Across Both Platforms
- Work as one team with Arevon’s NetSuite and Sitetracker administrators: share the load, review each other’s work, cross-train, and cover for one another so neither platform depends on a single person.
- Set priorities with business leaders in Accounting, Finance, Legal, Project Development, Construction, and Operations, turning requests into clear requirements with acceptance criteria and explaining what is changing and why.
- Support and train users on both platforms, troubleshooting issues and resolving them promptly.
- Mentor administrators and analysts and build the documentation, test scripts, and checklists that make the team faster and more consistent.
- Measure adoption and value: define and report KPIs that show how each platform is used and where it saves time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Five or more years of business systems experience, including at least three years administering NetSuite and at least three years administering Salesforce.
- Deep NetSuite administration skills: roles and permissions, saved searches, SuiteFlow workflows, custom records and fields, CSV imports, and release testing.
- Strong Salesforce administration skills: the security model, Flow, and data management, with enough Apex and SOQL to review what others build.
- Working knowledge of core accounting processes, such as procure-to-pay, record-to-report, and the month-end close, and how NetSuite supports them.
- Experience leading projects and mentoring other administrators, including setting priorities and reviewing others’ work.
- Experience integrating business systems through APIs or middleware, including troubleshooting data that falls out of sync.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot for real work, with an appetite to make them central to how a team builds and tests.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain a change to a controller in the morning and to a developer in the afternoon.
- Careful, methodical working habits, with the discipline to check a result instead of assuming it.
Preferred Qualifications
- NetSuite certifications, such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or ERP Consultant.
- Salesforce certifications, such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer.
- Experience with Sitetracker or another managed package on the Salesforce Platform.
- Experience with SuiteScript 2.x and the SuiteCloud Development Framework.
- Experience with an integration platform such as Celigo, Boomi, or MuleSoft.
- Familiarity with Git, pull requests, and continuous integration.
- Experience directing an AI coding agent, such as Claude Code or Cursor, on a real project.
- Exposure to renewable energy, construction, utilities, or project accounting.
