Trinity Solar, one of the nation’s leading residential solar companies, is looking for an Installation Retention Specialist to play a key role in keeping our installation process organized, efficient, and moving forward.
This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced role that sits at the center of our installation operations. You’ll work closely with field crews, project managers, customers, and vendors to coordinate schedules, maintain accurate project information, manage critical documentation, and help resolve issues that can impact installation timelines and the customer experience.

Compensation: $33-$34 / hour
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support day-to-day administrative functions for residential solar installation operations.
- Serve as a key liaison between field crews, project managers, customers, and vendors to ensure smooth scheduling, communication, and project coordination.
- Maintain and update project management systems with accurate job details, timelines, permits, inspection statuses, and other critical project information.
- Assist in managing inventory records and coordinating orders for supplies, tools, and equipment needed by field teams.
- Prepare, organize, and track documentation required for permits, inspections, utility interconnections, and compliance.
- Handle inbound customer communications related to scheduling, service updates, project status, and required documentation.
- Monitor project information and identify potential scheduling, documentation, or operational issues that could impact installation timelines or customer experience.
- Generate reports and summaries related to installation progress, project status, and operational metrics.
- Organize office resources and support internal team needs to help maintain efficient daily operations.
- Assist with onboarding and administrative coordination for new hires.
- Maintain accurate and timely records across applicable systems and platforms.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed in the execution of operational and administrative responsibilities.
- Support additional operational initiatives and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, field teams, project managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; experience with CRM or project management platforms such as Salesforce, JobNimbus, or Smartsheet is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate project information and documentation.
- Proactive, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to handle communications professionally and effectively.
- Knowledge of solar industry operations, permitting, inspections, or utility processes is a plus, but not required.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of administrative, operations, customer service, or project coordination experience, ideally within construction, solar, or a related industry.
- Experience working with CRM, project management, scheduling, or operational systems is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to communicate effectively by phone, email, and in person.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
