Construction Project Configuration Engineer

**Professional | Full-Time**

Region MED > Customer Project Execution, MED > Portfolio Planning & Reporting and Planning Iberia

Within our MED Construction group, the Construction Planning Department oversees leadership, performance, and the full planning and scheduling process for all Sales & Construction projects. Provides interface between Sales, Production, and Construction. Develops strategic plans for low-cost construction and transportation and ensures global production planning is engaged and aligned with SBU goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating all changes in configuration through the system during the Construction phases
• Maintaining the project configuration in line with the requests from customer and internal model updates
• Coordinating with Technology the approval of the changes in configuration
• Coordinating with Supply Chain and Planning the feasibility of the changes according to the production plan
• Coordinating and following up with Technology the non-standard requests of components ensuring the planning fits execution needs
• Aligning the Construction planners on the implementation of the changes in the Internal Demand Plan

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Industrial, mechanical or management).
• 2 years of professional experience required
• Office Software and SAP experience
• Primavera Planning Software knowledge would be an added value.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English

• Ability to coordinate and engage multiple stakeholders across Technology, Supply Chain, Planning, and Construction functions
• Structured and organized approach with the ability to assess impacts, dependencies, and risks of configuration changes
• Effective planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple requests and deadlines at the same time
• Forward-thinking problem-solving approach and ability to work through issues
• Process-oriented with a commitment to compliance, governance, and continuous improvement
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and operational requirements into clear actions
• Capable of thriving in a changing work environment and delivering consistent, high-quality output
