**Position Summary**
Perform maintenance and repair of non-power block systems structure and components to support site operation. Perform maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment to support the site. Ensure maintenance and repair activities are performed in the most cost-effective and timely manner to maintain a good working environment for site employees. Some examples of responsibilities include: potable water system, sewer systems, non powerblock systems structures and components, HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, IT data center support systems, fire protection systems and equipment, maintenance and repair of site tools and equipment, Emergency Sirens, lab fume hoods, eye wash stations, fire protection systems and all site doors. Many of these positions have State Licenses/Certifications in their respective disciplines.
**Basic/Required Qualifications**

**Responsibilities**
- HVAC: Includes HVAC Units inside and outside Protected Area (PA)
- Electrical: Responsible for any electrical requests/repairs in Site Services owned facilities
- Plumbing: All plumbing repairs or upgrades in kitchens, labs, restrooms, office areas
- Sewer Systems: To include Sewage Ejectors, Lift Stations
- Compressors: To include repair/replacement and PM’s
- Eye Wash Units: Testing and PM’s on Plant Eye Wash Stations
- Refrigeration Units: Maintenance & Repair to all refrigeration units,
- Doors: Maintenance and repair Plant & Facility Doors to include Fire Doors
- Data Center (x2): Manage and maintain all upgrades/ repairs to Data Center Equipment Electrical Distribution, HVAC and Support systems.
- Shop/Lab Equipment: PM & Repairs to Shop/Lab equipment on site
- Lifting/Rigging Equipment & Testing Maintenance of hoist related equipment
- Siren Maintenance: Perform PM’s, Repairs, and Testing of all Siren Equipment
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, furniture, cabinets, shelves, tables, kitchen equipment, and minor roof repair.
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical components including but not limited to fire protection sprinkler systems, air lines, pumps, motors and valves.
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on electrical systems and components, including but not limited to inside lighting, security lighting, emergency lighting, panel board wiring, etc.
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, PM’s and repair on HVAC systems and components including but not limited to condensing fan motor replacement, compressor replacement and total unit change outs.
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical plumbing components including but not limited to, sewage ejectors and lift stations, back flow preventers and flow meters, composite sample systems, fire protection systems, pump, valve and piping repairs and replacement.
- Perform telecommunication activities including but not limited to terminating, testing and splicing fiber optic cable, terminating cables at workstations and frames, running cross-connect jumpers and patch cords for LAN connections, running cross-connect jumpers and patch cables for phones, ability to use toners, testers and voltmeters as required to perform installations and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems.
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on Remote sampling sites and equipment, Alert notification equipment, Nuclear emergency response equipment( FLEX, B 5B).
**Desired Qualifications**
- Technical degree
- In addition to desired degree, 2 years related work experience
- Licensed Electrician and/or Licensed Plumber and/or HVAC Certification
**Additional Preferred Qulifications**
- Experience using basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook/email, etc.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with customers, vendors, management and supporting personnel
- Experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical and electrical components in an industrial or commercial application
- Experience performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on electrical equipment with voltages ranging from 115 volts to 600 volts
- Proficient in the use of manufactures manuals, drawings and procedures
- Experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical components including but not limited to air compressors, air lines, piping, pumps, motors and valves.
- Experience performing installation maintenance and troubleshooting and repairs of electrical systems and components including but not limited to inside lighting, general building wiring, emergency lighting and outside lighting.
- Experience with commercial and industrial plumbing and sewer systems including lift stations
- Experience with Carpentry work including framing, sheetrock repair, painting and scaffold building.
- Forklift operation experience
- Experience operating light and heavy equipment
- Previous Nuclear Plant experience
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
- Currently hold a CDL driver's license (DOT)
- Hold or have held a commercial contractor’s License in the required discipline. (electrical, HVAC, Plumbing)
- Qualified Crane Operator
- Experience performing oversight of vendor work force at a Nuclear Facility
**Working Conditions**
- Onsite Mobility Classification – Work will be performed at a company facility. On-site employees are also required to live within a reasonable daily commute to their assigned work location, not greater than 50 miles one way.
- Extreme hot and cold environments, working at heights, confined spaces, at night and on call duty
**Specific Requirements**
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Ability to have Nuclear plant Access and Radiation worker clearance
