Position Specific Description
Be part of history as we restart Duane Arnold Energy Center. As a Senior Chemistry Analyst, you will provide advanced chemistry and radiochemistry expertise that supports plant restoration, system recommissioning, operational readiness, and long-term equipment reliability. In this role, you will apply technical knowledge and analytical expertise to monitor and improve plant chemistry performance, ensure compliance with regulatory and operating requirements, and support the safe, reliable operation of critical plant systems. Your work will directly contribute to both the successful restart of the station and its sustained operational excellence in the years ahead.
This is a long-term technical position within the operating organization, offering the opportunity to play a key role during one of the nuclear industry's most significant restart projects while helping shape the future of plant chemistry programs. Working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Radiation Protection teams, you will lead chemistry initiatives, solve complex technical challenges, and support continuous improvement efforts throughout restart and future operations. What You'll Bring
We're seeking a chemistry professional who combines strong technical expertise with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Successful candidates will have experience analyzing plant chemistry performance, supporting chemistry and radiochemistry programs, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating across departments to achieve safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.
Experience in commercial nuclear operations, naval nuclear propulsion, or other highly regulated industrial environments is highly valued. Individuals with Navy ELT experience are encouraged to apply.
