N.J. Communities Acting to Slow Surge of Data Centers

Jersey City, New Jersey’s second-largest city, has joined a growing wave of municipalities that have moved to stop the development of data centers, despite the commitment of Gov. Mikie Sherrill (D) that she will ensure ratepayers and communities are not affected by the costs of interconnecting the facilities.
