Help us create a better future, quicker

Working within the Contract Management Team in SPD, the successful candidate will support the management and operation of live framework agreements, ensuring effective monitoring and governance across all active frameworks.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Framework Agreements, SPEN Operations, ED2 requirements, procurement processes, and legal forms of contract. A working knowledge of SAP and PowerBI is desirable. A commercial or finance background would be advantageous, along with the ability to analyse framework utilisation, scrutinise performance data, and provide insightful reporting and feedback.

The team is responsible for a diverse portfolio of service framework contracts across SPD, with an overall value of approximately £900 million. This is a dynamic role requiring the ability to manage a broad range of issues that arise on a daily basis, with regular engagement across the business and with external contractors.

The role involves close interaction with operational teams, project managers, senior management, and supply chain partners. While the framework portfolio is primarily focused on engineering, construction, and related services, it also encompasses a variety of other contract types. An understanding of SPEN's network operations, asset base, and typical business activities would be highly beneficial.
