Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee project development and acquisition of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in Mexico
- Represent Invenergy with partners, customers, landowners, state and local officials and other stakeholders
- Lead efforts to secure all local, state and/or federal permits, licenses, and authorizations
- Coordinate project design, landowner engagement, financial modeling and support commercial offtake negotiations and project financing
- Engage and manage third party consultants used in support of resource assessments, project designs, and permitting
- Prepare and maintain project budgets and schedules
- Drive negotiations and create solutions to project-specific problems and challenges
- Prepare periodic project status reports and presentations for management approvals
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5+ years of direct experience developing utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties.
- Experience building, managing and mentoring teams.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% on a monthly basis
