What you’ll be doing
To be an effective member of a team to maximise productivity, quality and effectiveness
Manage personal objectives to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the depart
ment work programme incl. Construction, Maintenance, Fault investigation/repair and Defect Management and the support functions of these tasks.
Identify personal resource requirements and feedback into the resource capac
ity planning. Proactively manage interfaces with others to ensure effective time management and availability.
Continually maximise productivity through monitoring of work processes and output
Continuously strive to gain knowledge and experience in all areas of business procedures and system operation.
Assist in the statutory obligations of the department by developing solutions and work programmes to carry out repairs and improvements. In particular to environmental regulations.
In addition to these requirements, the role encompasses a number of tasks critical to the Transmission Network Operations department:
What you’ll bring
Working knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices.
Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation. i.e. Fluorinated Gas Regulations
Awareness of network development policies and procedures.
Customer service skills.
Knowledge of network and business data and network management systems.
General awareness of commercial & regulatory requirements.
A degree of negotiation, communication and people management skills.
Ability to devise solutions to problems/challenges.
Knowledge of transmission plant standards, specifications and commissioning procedures.
