TITLE:Lead Operations Technology O.T. Network Architect
EMPLOYER: AES Clean Energy Services, LLC
LOCATION:4300 Wilson Blvd,Arlington, VA 22203 (Hybrid role; part time telecommuting authorized; 10% travel for site visits and training)
DUTIES:Lead the design and architecture of OT network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, redundancy, and compliance with AES Global Standards and NERC CIP requirements. Provide strategic technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional network engineering teams, fostering a collaborative environment for the implementation of new OT technologies. Develop, document, and implement standardized network designs, operating procedures, and configuration baselines for OT network environments. Provide technical leadership to network engineering teams, including guidance, training, and oversight during implementation of new OT networking technologies. Perform operational maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of OT network hardware and security devices, including Cisco firewalls, switches, routers, and related platforms. Facilitate communication and coordination between internal stakeholders, corporate IT, and third-party vendors to resolve complex architectural issues and ensure project alignment with business goals. Conduct routine audits, assessments, and testing of OT network systems to verify compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and change-management processes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional technology teams to resolve complex network issues, validate updates, and support disaster-recovery planning. Prepare and maintain network documentation, architecture diagrams, compliance reports, and project deliverables in support of OT asset management and regulatory obligations.
REQUIREMENTS:Job requires 10 years of experience designing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls in enterprise or industrial environments.

SALARY:The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $181,501 to $185,750/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes annual bonus. The benefits offered for this position are: medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off (including vacation, sick leave time, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.)
