Basic Job Functions:
Ensures Oracle ERP and WMS transactions are executed accurately and in a timely manner. Demonstrates and promotes First Solar’s Core Values while fostering teamwork in support of the company’s mission. This role is responsible for managing physical inventory validations and cycle count activities across assigned warehouse and offsite facilities, as well as executing inventory transactions for BOM, spare parts, and finished goods materials. The position is accountable for identifying and escalating systemic issues and inventory discrepancies, implementing solutions aligned with established best practices, and driving inventory accuracy through data analysis, tracking, and reporting. Additionally, this role supports continuous improvement initiatives, assists with physical inventory and cycle count programs, and ensures compliance with SOX controls, import/export regulations, company policies, and applicable inventory management standards.
Education/Experience:
- High School or GED equivalent required.
- College course work, certification, or formal training are highly desired.
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse (shipping/receiving) experience required.
- Cycle counting experience is beneficial.
- Oracle WMS Cloud experience preferred.
Required Skills/Competencies:
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and practices.
- Organized, attentive to detail & functions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft suite applications.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the resulting inventory and data entry reports and their accuracy.
- Assists with physical inventories and monthly cycle count activities.
- Analyzes and investigates inventory variances. Implement correct actions as needed to reduce/eliminate variances.
- Assists with BOM, Spare, WIP, and Finish Good and inventories activities.
- Supports the creation of Inventory management Work Instructions
- Providing Work based solutions for inventory dispensaries.
- Prioritize shipment requests based on the requestor delivery dates.
- Processes offsite warehouse shipment requests. Update internal tracking system(s) as necessary to reflect offsite shipments.
- Supports continuous improvement activities.
- Serves as a back-up to other key Inventory Control positions.
- Established and promotes good housekeeping and safety practices.
- Maintains a proper level of communication and fosters team building.

- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including, but not limited to: steel-toed shoes, cut-resistant gloves, jackets, aprons &/or arm guards, safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection & respirators) as a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair).
- Any position with an essential function of PIV operation requires 20/40 vision in each eye separately and both eyes (with or without correction), the ability to distinguish between red, yellow, and green and peripheral vision >70 degrees.
