We are looking for a Commercial Engineer to support sales activities across the Nordic region, coordinating complex stakeholders, developing winning bids, and contributing to the successful delivery of renewable energy projects.

Vestas NCE Sales team in the Nordics is responsible for driving all commercial activities across the Nordic markets, from early customer engagement and opportunity development through bid preparation, negotiations, contract closure, and successful handover to the construction phase.

Working closely with a diverse portfolio of customers, the team supports a broad range of stakeholders, including established project developers, independent power producers, and leading international utility companies. Through strong collaboration and customer focus, the team plays a key role in advancing renewable energy projects across the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the end-to-end sales process
• Prepare and maintain commercial cost models, project estimates, and pricing calculations based on customer requirements and project specifications
• Analyze sales opportunities, develop capture strategies, and support the evaluation of commercial and technical solutions to position competitive bids
• Drive bid and tender activities, including proposal preparation, documentation management, and timely submission of high-quality customer offerings
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, manage ongoing communications, and ensure accurate updates within the CRM system
• Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions in close collaboration with Sales Managers while coordinating activities across internal and external stakeholders
• Work cross-functionally with Construction, Transport, Supply Chain, and other key teams to secure project inputs, align deliverables, and contribute to successful project execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field, combined with a strong interest in commercial and sales-oriented activities
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Proficiency in a Nordic language, particularly Swedish, is beneficial
• Genuine passion for renewable energy and sustainability, with a strong motivation to contribute to the green energy transition and Vestas' mission of creating a more sustainable future

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities, enabling you to collaborate successfully across functions within a matrix organization
• Proven capability to build trust, establish strong relationships, and maintain productive partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Interest in or experience with financial analysis and modelling, with the ability to interpret commercial data, generate insights, and communicate recommendations confidently
• Highly organized and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Customer and service-focused mindset, combined with a proactive approach, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in an international and multicultural setting
• Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn, demonstrating a high level of engagement, ownership, and continuous improvement in everything you do
