TITLE:  Applications and Integration Specialist

EMPLOYER: AES Clean Energy Services LLC

LOCATION: 1065 Woodman Drive, Dayton, OH 45432 (25% Travel for technical support to AES

generation plants and participation in special integration projects)

DUTIES: Provide specialized technical expertise in performance monitoring and control-system data

integration for power generation assets using EtaPRO and SCADA environments, leveraging industrial

communications standards (OPC, DNP3, Modbus) to support reliability and operational analytics. Apply

transformer diagnostics expertise by interpreting dissolved gas analysis (DGA) results and integrating DGA

insights into EtaPRO for continuous asset health monitoring and early anomaly identification. Perform

advanced diagnostics and condition assessment using EtaPRO performance indicators, alerting logic, and

industry standards (e.g., IEEE C57.104) to support predictive maintenance and reduce corrective

maintenance risk. Support regulatory and internal performance reporting by validating operational and

asset data quality, reconciling plant KPIs, and enabling analytics consumption through approved enterprise

reporting platforms (e.g., SAS, if applicable). Collaborate with I&C, electrical, and cybersecurity

stakeholders to ensure secure, standardized industrial communications (OPC, DNP3, Modbus), maintain

data interface integrity, and support high availability of monitoring/SCADA connectivity. Provide EtaPRO

subject-matter expertise by standardizing configurations, authoring technical guidelines, and training

engineering/O&M users to ensure consistent monitoring practices across facilities. Support delivery of

operational insights through analytics visualization (e.g., Qlik Sense) by defining KPI requirements,

validating data sources, and presenting asset performance trends for engineering and O&M decision-

making. Troubleshoot complex performance monitoring and SCADA data issues (signal quality,

communications, historian alignment) and provide technical recommendations that improve plant

operability, reliability, and data-driven maintenance decisions.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and 5 years of experience supporting power plant operations through power system analysis, EtaPRO-based performance monitoring, SCADA data validation, and operational performance analytics for generation assets.
