Manager AES Indiana Capital Construction – Underground & Overhead
Job Description Summary
Under general supervision, manages and is responsible for safe, reliable, and economic construction, operation, and design of the AES Indiana Overhead and Underground Transmission and Distribution systems including construction, performance, and capital maintenance. Responsible for planning and construction work for major changes in the Transmission and Distribution systems, ensuring systems conform to the Company’s approved construction standards, and accepted engineering design standards. Additionally, responsible for management of underground residential and commercial construction and maintenance. Oversees the safe work practices of AES Indiana overhead contractor workforces to ensure performance and adherence to company work and safety rules to include storm restoration activities. Actively participates in company’s strategic work and resource planning. Directs, guides, and counsel’s department personnel and contract management on the maintenance & construction of the electric delivery system, including administration of all policies, procedures, and practices.
